Chicago Lights Summer Day
Chicago Lights Summer Day is a six-week program that provides a safe place for 100 first through ninth graders to learn and engage in academic classes and arts instruction each summer. At the end of the session, students present a dynamic, multicultural arts performance for the community. The Acting Instructor for Summer Day will be responsible for creating and developing acting learning activities that are timely and suitable for students (first–ninth grade) enrolled in the Summer Day program. The Acting Instructor will develop lessons and other activities that coincide with the Summer Day theme that students will perform live for the final performance.
The Development Coordinator oversees the logistics and execution of events and activities managed by the Associate Director of Development and executed by the Development team. The Development Coordinator drives results through volunteer and committee empowerment.
This position reports to the Associate Director of Development and works closely with Development staff, the accounting office, donors, and Fourth Presbyterian Church and Chicago Lights staff members to provide a high level of quality customer service to all internal and external constituents in a high-volume fundraising office.
Major and Planned Giving Officer
Fourth Presbyterian Church
The Major and Planned Giving Officer is responsible for the development, management, and execution of fundraising plans and programs targeting major ($5K-10K+) and planned giving donors to support Fourth Presbyterian Church and Chicago Lights. In collaboration with the Director of Development and other key stakeholders, the Major and Planned Giving Officer will assist in building a major gift pipeline program and building and soliciting a portfolio of donors affiliated with Fourth Presbyterian Church. Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Major and Planned Giving Officer will be responsible to conceive and develop a broad-based planned giving program.
