The Chicago Lights Urban Farm’s Assistant Grower Internship is a ten-month (March–December), part-time paid opportunity that provides individuals ages 18-26 with barriers to employment with advanced job readiness and site-specific training.

Internships foster job-readiness skills (career preparation, knowledge of emerging industry needs, communication, critical thinking, decision-making, leadership, positive work habits) and on-site training (advanced urban agriculture techniques, crop planting and farm operations, market and wholesale account management, externship opportunities).


Major and Planned Giving Officer
Fourth Presbyterian Church

The Major and Planned Giving Officer is responsible for the development, management, and execution of fundraising plans and programs targeting major ($5K-10K+) and planned giving donors to support Fourth Presbyterian Church and Chicago Lights. In collaboration with the Director of Development and other key stakeholders, the Major and Planned Giving Officer will assist in building a major gift pipeline program and building and soliciting a portfolio of donors affiliated with Fourth Presbyterian Church. Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Major and Planned Giving Officer will be responsible to conceive and develop a broad-based planned giving program.
