Promoting Health and Wellness Changes Lives!

Maintaining good health and managing health concerns is fundamental to enjoying life at every age and a priority for children and adults from all walks of life. Chicago Lights provides health and wellness services in the following ways:

Exercise Opportunities

"This aerobics class is a superior class. I have been to many exercise classes outside of the Center for Life and Learning, but you just can't beat this class; you can't find anything better. " - Julie Young, member of Chicago Lights Center for Life and Learning

Wellness Initiatives

"We try to infuse a wellness inside and out. Sometimes what our clients need is someone that will listen and follow through." Eileen Dollear, MSN, CRNA - former Albert Schweitzer Foundation Fellow at Chicago Lights Center for Whole Health

Services and programs in the areas of health and wellness are one of three practice areas for Chicago Lights.

"The biggest draw for us to Chicago Lights, both as volunteers and benefactors, has been the sense of being apart of a strong community that inspires others and leads by example.

Chicago Lights has allowed both of us to share the gifts we have been so blessed with while gaining new perspective on the challenges our community faces."
