Chicago Lights relies on the generosity of individuals to enable our programs to offer life-changing opportunities. Gifts of every size are welcome and will support every individual served by Chicago Lights!
Make a gift online. Designate Chicago Lights for a Matching Gift All matched gifts are tax deductible because we are registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the Federal government and the State of Illinois. Employees, directors, employees' spouses and retirees usually qualify for the program. Matching gifts are a great way to double or triple your gift! Contact your Human Resource office to receive a matching gift form. You may submit it with your gift or any time during the tax year in which your gift was given.

Do you love to host a great party or event and would like to do it for a great cause? Host an event for Chicago Lights! You can choose an idea from a
list of fundraising ideas

Honor Someone Special A gift dedicated to someone or marking a special occasion honors everyone involved and creates a lasting, positive legacy. Chicago Lights acknowledges these gifts by sending an appropiate note to the family or honoree. The amount of your gift will not be mentioned, and a separte receipt will be sent to you.
Indicate your tribute or honor gift on our
secure site Register with eScrip: Shop to Give 
eScrip is a fundraising program dedicated to establishing relationships between commerce merchants and community, around the country. After registering with eScrip, when you shop at participating merchants, a percent of your dollars spent will be given to the charity of your choice (Chicago Lights!). You'll give back to the community every time you swipe your card and at no cost to you!

You can designate Chicago Lights through your company's United Way campaign, which usually takes place in the Fall.
Money generated through United Way campaigns goes into the United Way Community Fund and is dispersed to a variety of local organziations. However, you can specify that your gift be sent directly to support the work of Chicago Lights. Please talk to your employer about Chicago Lights!
